Day 1
Enjoy a morning guided drive over the Sydney Harbour Bridge towards the town of Windsor. Take in the scenic beauty of rugged cliffs and gorges as you slowly wind your way along the historic Bells Line of Road. Keep an eye out for wallabies and kangaroos along the drive. Nestled on the edge of Turon River, surrounded by ancient gum trees you’ll find your glamorous tent for the next two nights. Enjoy lunch by the riverside followed by a lazy afternoon, or if you’re looking for something a bit more active, take in the natural beauty of the land with a bushwalk or horse ride.
Day 2
Enjoy a self-cooked breakfast before you embark on an exquisite food and wine tour of the nearby town of Mudgee. Stop in town for a coffee at a quaint country town, explore the local arts and crafts stores before continuing your journey towards Robert Stein Wines, renowned for their award-winning Riesling and vintage motorcycle collection.
The next stop will be Lowes Estate, enjoy the local flavours with an amazing wine tasting followed by a fresh lunch at a local restaurant.
The final stop on the tour is the family-owned and run vineyard Slow Fox Wines, nestled in the clay hills of Mudgee. Enjoy the vibrant flavours of Mudgee’s heart-warming red wines, from a tasty Malbec to a hearty Shiraz and a fruity Cabernet. Complete your taste with a stop at Mudgee Honey Haven.
Day 3
Have a lazy start to the morning, followed by a self-cooked breakfast by the tranquil Turon River. Enjoy a relaxing bush walk before your driver collects you at 11 am to return to Sydney.
