The resort is located on the northern part of the island and surrounded by tropical rainforest – they offer guided walks in the evening so that you can experience the wildlife. The suites are out of this world and the resort has service to match. I found that we couldn’t leave the resort as it was a holiday in itself – amazing! - Sarah

Located next door to the Petronas Towers, this location has access to some of the best shopping centres in the area. The service is amazing – the Malaysians seem always happy to help you with any requests– not is ever too much trouble. The rooms are beautiful and some rooms have views over the park area. – Sarah

Restaurants
Star Hill Gallery – Kuala Lumpur
Located between the JW Marriott Hotel and the Ritz Carlton – it is a shopping centre that offers everything luxury – all your label shopping in the one place. The bottom level is a food court like you have never seen before – its name is feast and there are 12 restaurants to choose from covering every continent. There is something for everyone. - Trina
Lafite – Kuala Lumpur
Located in the Shangri-la Kuala Lumpur – A beautiful atmosphere with wonderful food and the service is amazing – we had 4 wait staff for 3 people. You just thought about what you wanted and it arrived. The food is fresh, creative and has a French influence, but the wine list is amazing it is like a novel and you need muscles to carry it - best to ask the Sommelier – which is what we ended up doing. - Trina
