Itinerary at a glance

Day 1 - Welcome to Tehran

Bon voyage! Today you are off on your exciting tour of Iran. On arrival in Tehran, you will be greeted by your friendly tour leader outside the baggage claims. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in. You will then enjoy a traditional dinner in Darband District, a mountainous neighbourhood inside Tehran's metropolitan limits. It is the beginning of a popular hiking trail into Mount Tochal, which towers over Tehran.


Day 2 - Tehran

Today you will drive to a thermal spring near Rineh Village. Its water is used for the treatment of joint disorders, skin diseases and infections. Enjoy your time in the hot spring and relax. Watch the amazing scenes of the village. You will then head back to Tehran and stay the night.


Day 3 - Tehran

After a delicious buffet breakfast, you will leave for a guided city tour with an expert guide who will explain to you all the highlights of Tehran: The National Museum of Iran, Golestan Palaces Complex (UNESCO world heritage site). Explore The Traditional Bazar of Tehran. At night you will go to a traditional Persian concert.


Day 4 - Tehran to Shiraz

Today you will fly to Shiraz. Arrive in the city of poetry and flowers. You will have a full day tour of Shiraz to visit the graceful garden of Eram Garden (part of UNESCO's world heritage Persian Gardens site). Next you will visit one of the most visually stunning mosques in the world called Nasirol Molk (Pink Mosque). After that, you will have the chance to see Vakil Complex (Bazaar, Bath and Mosque) and Arge Karim Khani. Have lunch in a very famous traditional restaurant. The final visit of the day would be Aramgah-e-Hafez (Havez Shrine), the famous Persian poet star well known as Persian ghazal apogee. You might see people performing Faal-e Hafez, a popular ritual in which you seek insight in to your future by opening a volume of Hafez. The future is apparent in his words.


Day 5 - Shiraz

Today you will visit the famous Afif Abad garden and enjoy a coffee at the nice café in the garden. You will spend a half day learning the local cuisine of Shiraz and enrich your trip to Iran with one tasty memory. That night you will have a chance to visit Quran Gate.


Day 6 - Shiraz

Today you will spend half a day in a villa, and what is called a garden-house, in Farsi and have a picnic lunch. That evening you will visit an art gallery and enjoy Iranian masterpieces.


Day 7 - Shiraz to Pasargadae to Persepolis to Yazd

Transfer to Yazd and visit Pasargadae and Persepolis en route. They are two of the most important and popular historical sites of Iran belonging to Achaemenid Era. To better understand the antiquity of Iranian art and science you visit Takht-e Jamshid in Persepolis (A UNESCO world heritage site). You will see the magnificent Persepolis with its monumental staircases, exquisite reliefs and imposing gateways that leave you in no doubt as to how grand this city was and how totally dominant the Achamenid empire was.


Day 8 - Yazd

You will visit Amir Chakhmagh, Ateshkede, Dakhma (Towers of Silence), Dowlat Abad Garden. Have lunch in the magnificent Daad Hotel.


Day 9 -  Yazd to Isfahan

In the morning you will drive towards Isfahan. Visit some highlights such as Chehel Sotun Palace, Vank Cathedral. Walk around in the Armenian Neighbourhood and enjoy a coffee at an Armenia Café. That night visit the famous bridges of Sio-se Pol and Khaju. Spend time relaxing by the river and perhaps try some Shisha.


Day 10 - Isfahan

Explore Naqshe Jahan Square. Visit Sheikh Loft Ol Iah Mosque, and Ali Qapu Palace. Then enjoy the bazar surrounding the square. Take part in a short Mina Kari (Enamelling) and Monabat workshop.


Day 11 - Isfahan to Abyaneh

Today in the morning you will enjoy learning a traditional confectionary recipe then you will drive towards the red village of Abyaneh.


Day 12 - Abyaneh to Kashan

Today you will start by visiting some of the main highlights of Kashan such as Fin Garden, Tabatabai and Broujerdi House. Spend half the day learning a traditional recipe.


Day 13 - Kashan to Maranjab to Tehran

Today you are going on an adventure in the heart of the Maranjab Desert. Enjoy a Safari by 4-wheel drive and camel riding. Then head to Tehran. That night you will enjoy dinner in an Armenia Café.


Day 14 - Fly home

Today you will check out and get transferred for your flight back home.
