About the Concierge Traveller Spring Series
Due to the rescheduling of some series after COVID-19, the Spring Series will not be run in 2020.
The Concierge Traveller Spring Series sailed on Sydney Harbour, comprises of 4 Pointscore races throughout the months of August and early September each year.
Racing includes divisions in IRC and ORC should numbers allow, along with the traditional performance (PHS) handicap. Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker divisions will be conducted.
In 2019, competitors entering with a female helmsperson for each of the four-race Spring Series were also eligible for the Women’s Spring Pointscore, which will operate as a sub-series within the Overall Pointscore Series.
Races are a scratch start and commence at 1400hrs, allowing competitors to enjoy lunch at the CYCA, before heading out on the water to enjoy the best of the afternoon Spring breeze./
Each week there is a draw for the weekly divisional winners which are in the running for a $500 Concierge Traveller voucher.
The overall 2019 winner of a $5000 Concierge Traveller voucher was drawn after the overall trophies were given out with the winner being D McDonnell and R Blanc-Ramos, skippers of Applejack who was placed second in PHS Division 3 (non spinnaker).
