Cycle the Loire Valley, France

A client of John’s spent the first few days of his holiday in France cycling the quiet country paths and river banks of the Loire and Cher Rivers and enjoying accommodation that varied from wine-brokers lodges to a former gentleman’s residence with landscaped gardens and a private lake. With meals and wines as indulgences to counter the “rigours” of the day’s cycling through pretty villages and mediaeval towns, he fell in love with the region on his first visit.
